Porsche 935 24HR Le Mans Tee

The Porsche 935 K3 is one of the most legendary GT race cars ever built. Developed by Kremer Racing as an evolution of Porsche's already successful 935 Group 5 racer, the K3 featured improved aerodynamics, a lighter chassis, and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat-six producing around 740 hp in endurance trim. Renowned for its speed, reliability, and brutal turbocharged performance, the 935 K3 became one of the most successful customer race cars of its era.

In the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the No. 41 Kremer Racing Porsche 935 K3, driven by Klaus Ludwig, Don Whittington, and Bill Whittington, claimed overall victory. Battling torrential rain and mechanical dramas that eliminated many of the faster prototypes, the 935 K3 demonstrated exceptional durability and consistency to take the chequered flag. The victory was made even more remarkable by a Porsche 935 sweep of the podium, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall, cementing the 935 K3's place as one of the greatest GT cars in Le Mans history.
